If anyone has been following me recently on social media, they will have noticed that I have begun streaming a weekly DJ set every Saturday at 7.45pm GMT. It is simulcast on Facebook, Twitch, Mixcloud and YouTube (along with my own website having a rebroadcast available from twitch). We have had some great shows with some brilliant interaction from the viewers.
Every show is intended to be a variety of dance music ranging from some classics from years gone by, right up to the most modern and fresh tracks just released. There is no music snobbery, it’s just intended to be great fun. I love doing the streams and helps with my own personal ‘Lockdown boredom’, but hopefully it brings some variety and entertainment to all that watch and get involved.
But while I have always enjoyed doing the streams, they have jumped to a higher production level recently with green screen effects to make the stream more entertaining. The YouTube recording of one of my most recent streams can be found below:
I always try and post the audio recording on my Mixcloud page during the following week (once I have mastered the audio), These have been doing great recently with the audio from the last 2 weeks reaching 70th and (currently) 58th in the world party charts – a great achievement that I am very proud of. I shall link to the audio below. Feel free to have a listen and let me know if you enjoyed them.
